Ladies' Auxiliary
The Ladies Auxiliary is almost a year old so please help us celebrate and join our group for fun, fellowship, and a truly rewarding experience. Our charter date was March 25th, 2004 and we have done much in that short period of time. We have participated in several fundraisers/events such as Glen Fest, Ash Wednesday Fish Fry, and an annual rummage sale. Several charitable activities we have devoted time to include Adopting a Family for Christmas, providing Thanksgiving baskets for the needy, helping with the New Parishioner luncheon, supporting a seminarian, donating a Dessert of the Month for the St. John Neumann auction, and helping with St. Cecilia's vacation bible school.
The Auxiliary is open to any lady who is 18 years of age or older and a practicing Catholic. Our organization was created for the following purposes:
- To promote sociability among members
- To assist in promoting the welfare of St. Cecilia Knights of Columbus Council Number 13216
- To promote some charitable activity each year
Our meetings are on the 4th Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the church hall. With the kitchen remodel, meetings will be held at the Family Life Center until the kitchen is completed.
The Ladies Auxiliary will hold their annual rummage sale in the church hall on June 24 and 25. Please consider donating your “stuff” to help our worthy cause.
We would love to have every lady at St. Cecilia's become a member. It is difficult to add another thing to your life but we hope you would consider joining the Ladies Auxiliary. Whatever time commitment you can give to the Auxiliary, we feel you will reap many benefits of belonging to our organization.
