Eldred N. (Buck) Adamson Memorial Scholarship

Each year the Council awards two $500 scholarships to a graduating high school senior from St. Cecilia parish. The scholarships are paid in $250 increments applied to the fall and winter terms at the college the recipient decides to atten. In 2004 and 2008, four scholarships were awarded because the Council recieved two $500 donations from local businesses or donors with a request that the money be applied towards scholarships.

The Eldred N. Adamson Memorial Scholarships are payable to a college or vocational school that the selected students plan to attend. Snce the council's in 2003, we have awarded scholarships to High School graduates who are registered parishioners of St. Cecilia Church. Since 2003, the council has awarded $8,000 worth of scholarships (sixteen $500 dollar scholarships in total).

Scholarship applications for the 2009-2010 school year are due no later than May 1, 2009. The instructions and application is available in PDF format.
